Rainforest Lychee Frozen 100g
$9.60
(Diploglottis bracteata)
Also known as the native tamarind or Boonjie tamarind, this exotic fruit occurs naturally in the rainforests of eastern Australia. Featuring a sizable seed and vibrant orange flesh, this nutrient dense bushfood is celebrated for its tangy combination of orange and apricot flavours. Rainforest Lychee shines in both sweet and savoury dishes, but especially so when incorporated into Asian-style dishes, in lieu of conventional lychee or tamarind. Rinse before use, and remove large seed.
