Growing naturally in the arid and semi-arid regions of Australia, Scented Emu Bush is a powerful aromatic herb. With sweet herbal, and subtle eucalyptus tones, this unique herb adds an interesting depth of flavour to all types of infusions, marinades or seasonings, however it has traditionally been used to brew teas for its health benefits. Start with a small amount and adjust to taste, as this herb can be quite potent. For brewing, infuse 1tsp per 250ml of boiling water, and steep for 10 minutes.

Infusions: First Nations Australians traditionally used the leaves of the Scented Emu Bush to create herbal infusions. The leaves can be steeped in hot water to make a herbal tea, which is best served with sweeteners such as honey or sugar.

Seasoning: The aromatic leaves of the Scented Emu Bush may be used sparingly as a seasoning or flavouring agent in all types of dishes, such as stews, soups, or other dishes to impart a subtle, herbal aroma and flavour.

Best used steeped in water to brew tea, or used in cooking.

Store in an air-tight container, in a cool dark place.
