Sandalwood Kernels 100g
$11.00
(Santalum spicatum)
Derived from the famed Sandalwood tree, which grows naturally among the arid and semi-arid areas of Western Australia, these chickpea-sized nuts may not be the tree’s most recognised product, however they are gaining popularity due to their culinary versatility. When consumed raw, these nuts offer a subtle woody flavour and an almost chewy texture. This native nut really comes to life when roasted however, which culminates in a delightful crunch that pairs well with both sweet and savoury flavours, making them an excellent alternative to conventional nuts. Simply roast whole, crush or slice the nuts, before using them in your favourite recipes.
